The OS Cube is designed by Ilya Osipov, and the award-winning puzzle in Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition 2021. This puzzle is a toroidal twisty puzzle with magnets. Opposing magnets can attract or repel. The object is to twist the puzzle such that all magnets attract. The tactile and acoustic sensation of Ilya's design is fantastic, with the magnets click under your fingers. It works like a 2x2x2 cube. The solution, however, is not solved by arranging colors. In a really unique twist, it must be solved by using the internal magnets. Every tile can be retracted or extended. This is done by turning the puzzle and thereby rearranging some internal magnets. The puzzle has two solutions: All tiles extended and all tiles retracted. In one of the solved states, the stickers will line up to form a continuous path around the cube.
